One Month!

Lydia is now two months old,

but let's take a look back to when she was just a month old.

July 28, 2012 

What a cute little baby!

Aunt Ashley!

Ashley and Lydia were twinsies!  So cute!!!

On our 2nd anniversary, July 24th, Ashley babysat for us.

It was our first time away from Lydia.

We went to the Peking House, two minutes from our house.

It was splendid!

This is a picture from a different day though.

She was multi-tasking:

eating, holding Lydia, and reading to her.

Pool Party!

At the end of July we had a pool party for our Sunday School class.

We teach the 1st and 2nd grade class,

and the party was to celebrate our graduates.

It was lots of fun!

Lydia loved it too! 

Olympics!

As you know, the Olympics took place this summer in London.

To celebrate, we had an opening ceremony party at my parents' house.

I made Olympic brownies.

Nothing fancy for this Momma...

now that's weird to say!

We were supposed to dress up.

This is the best we could do.  

Lydia's cute dress is from Aunt Heather.

Ashley was all decked out, and Jessica was a runner.

Lydia was a bit fiesty during the party, as you can see. 

Josiah loving his cousin.

And the best dressed award, hands down,

went to Josiah and Caleb

Cousinly Love!

Have I mentioned how much Josiah and Caleb love Lydia?

It is soooo cute!

They always want to hold her, pat her, and kiss her!

They also love to take care of her.

Here she is with the added touches of a flower on her shirt

and a headband on her head.

Andrew & Chelsea's Wedding!

When Lydia was three weeks old,

we headed down to Louisiana for Joel's brother's wedding.

It was another loooong trip, but Lydia did great!

Lydia got all dressed up for the wedding but wasn't too happy about getting her picture taken.

The wedding was at an old cotton mill, which was pretty cool! 

Everything was decorated very cute-ly! 

It was very hot outside!

Lydia cried through the whole rehearsal, but she slept through the wedding.

What a relief! 

The Habermas brothers! 

It was a beautiful wedding

and one of the best ceremonies I've ever been to!

(Thought I better put that since I am over a month behind on my blogging.)

Nertz!

Back when I was pregnant, especially during the last week,

I would go to camp and play Nertz with Jessica and Rebecca.

It was lots of fun!

One day, after Lydia was born, Josiah decided that Lydia wanted to play cards too.

I looked over and saw this:
