Happy Birthday, Joel!

Today Joel turns the big 3-0!
I am so thankful to have him as my husband!
He is kind, devoted, humble, patient, and loving.
I couldn't have asked for a better partner and friend!
He works so hard every day to take care of his family.
He also works hard to keep our house and yard looking beautiful!
So glad my girls have him as their Daddy!
Most importantly, he is wholeheartedly devoted to his Savior, which is what truly makes him such an incredible man!
I better stop.  I'm getting all choked up!
I sure do love my Joel-y!
He's the best of the best!
Happy 30th Birthday, Joel!

If you're wondering why there are no pictures of us together, that would be because this is the only one I have since January of just the two of us.  Ha!  We were about to ride The TN Tornado roller coaster. :)

Cooking with Lydia!

Lydia loves to help out in the kitchen!

She's quite the little chef.  :)

Virginia Creeper Trail!

Here are the girls all bundled up at the top.
We stopped by a Christmas tree farm on the way down.
There wasn't much fall color, but I did spot this small patch.

We had a little playground fun near the top.

Momma bought me a lovely pea green hat to keep my ears warm.

And then I didn't take any more pictures.  Sad!  My fingers must have been too frozen.
We were pretty chilly, but we had a great time!

Last Ones!

Just want to share a few more pictures from Halloween, and then I really will move on. :)
Here's the whole craft night crew, minus a few crafters, and plus a lot of family members!
Cute, cute!
Bat rolls!  I think they should be hanging upside down.
I just love a good family theme.  Can't believe I keep talking Joel into participating.  Went pretty easy on him this year.  :)
This is how Lydia really felt about taking so many pictures.  She did so good though!
Ashley and Anna!
S'more time!
Next party coming up is Joel's 30th birthday bash!  In 4 days!  Better get on that! :)

The Wolf & Little Red!

You all are probably tired of all these pictures, but I have just a few more favorites to share.

And I think this is my favorite!
We had a great Halloween!  Now on to November!

Big Bad Wolf!

Here are a few more pictures I took of the wolf yesterday.

This one cracks me up!  She took her hat off at least a hundred times!
And she did not like that I kept putting it right back on!

I took a ton of pictures of the girls together, but this is the only one I put on my computer so far.  Heather and I had quite the time trying to get both of them in a picture together!
Happy Halloween!

Halloween Sneak Peak!

Anna is going to be the big bad wolf for Halloween.  Poor girl.  :)
I ordered these for her from a friend I was in Ashley's wedding with.  She just started up a side business and is good!
I made a tutu to go along with it...don't want her to look too masculine.  Ha!
Here is what it looked like at first:
And here we have the new and (hopefully) improved look I achieved by sewing about one hundred strips of ribbon on.  (Excuse the ketchup on the model's face.)
Now for the hard part...trying to get Anna Kate to keep all of her accessories on.  That will most likely be a battle.  Hope I win!  (at least for the pictures!)
P.S. I was correct in my assumption.  Anna Kate is two pounds lighter than Lydia was at her age.  Anna is 18 pounds, and Lydia was almost 20!
P.P.S. Today is my half birthday...just in case you want to celebrate it! :)
