Snow Week!

The girls only went to school one day this week, and that day had a two hour delay. So five hours at school this week and a whoooole lot at home! One day we went on a van hike with my parents to find some snow on top of a mountain...we never got much at all where we live. We’ve had a nice week together, but I think we’re all ready for more school and warmer weather!

 

Valentine’s Day at School!

The girls were so excited about their Valentine’s Day parties! And I was so glad it wasn’t snowed out or done virtually! One funny thing though, the girls had to send their valentines in a week early to be quarantined. Strange times we’re living in!  

Aunt Terry sent the girls heart glasses and necklaces in the mail. They wanted to wear them to school. I told them to wait until party time  to put them on, and Anna Kate said, “Oh, I’m partying all day long!” Haha!

 

Valentine’s Day!

We started the day out with heart shaped bacon and pancakes. Then we headed to church...a few minutes late, as usual. The rest of the day was spent eating candy and relaxing...a good day all around!

 

100th Day of School!

The girls finally got to celebrate the 100th day of school last Friday. It kept getting postponed. Anna Kate chose an idea for her shirt off Pinterest, and I whipped it up. I had saved Lydia’s shirt from kindergarten for Anna Kate to wear, but she of course wasn’t interested in that idea. But Lydia was feeling left out from the excitement, so she tried her old shirt on and it magically still fit! Now that wouldn’t be a miracle for a Shibley child, but it definitely was for one of my Habermas women. Haha! The girls had a fun day celebrating!

 

Grandmother’s House!

We got to go visit Aunt Faye and Grandmother this past weekend! And they finally got to meet baby Benjamin! It was a wonderful weekend! Grandmother and Aunt Faye are simply the best!
