We had a wonderful week off last week! We started by heading out to spend a few days at Fall Creek Falls. Here we are getting our grocery pickup.
The house we rented had horses in the back yard!
While we were checking out the horses, Benjamin got into some poke berries. Ahhh!
So we had to run inside and take a bath.
The girls made some rice crispies for us to enjoy.
I tried out a bubble braid. Anna Kate wasn’t too impressed, but I thought it turned out ok for my first try!
We went to the nature center at FCF. Always fun!

And to the falls.
Since everything was so wet, we ate our packed lunches in the new inn lobby. It was nice and relaxing.
Decided we should take a picture by the nice, warm fire. Then cracked up that we couldn’t see the fire!
There we go.
There was an old gingerbread kit at our house, and the host said we could use it. Benjamin didn’t let the expiration date bother him. Haha
Steven did a lot of skating and a lot of game playing.
We cooked hot dogs, hobo stew, and s’mores!
The wood was very wet, so it took quite a while to get the fire going the first time.
Returned to FCF for a hike on a much nicer, drier day.
