Happy Easter!

Wreath!

In case you haven't noticed, 

I am on a two week streak of posting.

I don't want to break my record now, 

so I'm afraid I am scrounging around for a post.

Here goes...

Our wreath that hangs on our back door was looking really rough.

All the berries were breaking and fading.

So Joel painted all the berries!

You can't really tell in the pictures,

but it does look much better than before.

It's probably still time for a new wreath though...

I know.  

P.S. There will be some higher quality posts coming up next week.

They just involve too much uploading for this moment in time.

P.P.S.  Those pictures look backwards, but they're not.

Let's just blame it on poor lighting or something.

Toys!

Cousin Caleb came for a visit a few days ago.

He kept bringing Lydia toys to keep her happy.

She loved having a play partner!

Doctor Visit!

Lydia went to the doctor for her 9 month checkup on Friday.  

She had to get her finger pricked and a big tube filled with blood.

I was worried, 

but she did great!

She didn't even cry!

Such a good, sweet baby!

She sucked on her bandaid-ed finger until the bandaid fell off.

        

Oh, and here are her 9 month stats:

She weighs 19 lbs 10.5 oz, which puts her in the 75th percentile.

I think she's going to catch up to her cousins soon!  :)

She is 28 inches long...80th %.

She grew 3 inches in 3 months!  Wowsers!

And her big ol Gibson head is 18 inches around, which is the 85th %.

She is a happy, healthy baby girl!       

Now it's time to enjoy a nice 3 month break before our next visit.

I think I definitely dislike doctor visits far more than Lydia does.

Pot Luck!

Last weekend there was a pot luck at my church. 

Heather and I both planned to go and prepared food.

Then Ashley and Cynthia dropped by, and we decided to have our own potluck at home.

It sure was fun and delicious!!!

9 Months!

Our sweet Lydia turned 9 months old yesterday!

Teeth!

She is just about to be able to crawl.

So close!

It's been a grand 9 months!
