Virtual School!

 The girls are doing their schoolwork virtually this week, because they have so many Covid cases at their school. Between helping the girls with their work and keeping the boys fed and changed, I haven’t had much time to get anything else done. Let’s just say, we’re all ready for regular school to start back up next week!

 

Happy Birthday, Anna Kate!

Anna Kate turned 6 on Saturday! Can you even believe it?! We had a fun day getting ready for her party. Gramma came over to help. We decided to party at camp this year to give us more room to spread out. It was perfect! We might have to do that more often! Both sides of our family came and one of Anna Kate’s new school friends. We had a great time celebrating Anna Kate together! (And once again, all my good pictures are in my camera. Hope to get to those soon!)

A few things about six year old Anna Kate:

She is very smart and learns new things quickly! She is doing great in kindergarten and is really getting the hang of reading, which is so fun to watch!

She is a wonderful sister! She would play with Lydia all day long if Lydia would let her. She is so sweet to both of her brothers! She and Steven have been playing together so much lately. I love listening in on them talking to each other. And she’s also Benjamin’s number one fan.

 

Campfire!

It was nice and warm when the girls got home from school on Wednesday, so we decided to play outside. The girls made a little fire circle and collected sticks. They were shocked when I agreed to light it up! Then we remembered we had some mini marshmallows, so we got to have a deliciously toasted after school snack!

 

Ballet!

The girls started back to their ballet classes this week. These pictures are from their recital that was this past fall. My friend took them. I’ll try to post mine some other time. And the last two pictures are from this week. They both looked so cute, until Lydia saw me trying to take her picture through the window and stuck out her tongue!

 

Joel’s Baby Clothes!

Here are the boys in Joel’s baby clothes. This blog jumbles all my pictures, and I can’t figure out how to fix it! So just try to figure out which boy is which...shouldn’t be too hard. They look so different!

 

 

Our Christmas Morning!

We had our Christmas on the 27th. The girls got bunk beds for their new room, which Joel painted pink! Steven got a blue scooter and a train table! (All the other pictures I took are on my camera.) It was a magical morning!
