Habermas Christmas #2!

Back we went on Christmas Eve!  Christmas morning finally rolled around, and we all went downstairs to open up more presents!
This is the first present Anna took interest in opening.
She was loving it!
Her main toy was this walker, which she has really been enjoying!
Now it's Christmas morning here at this Habermas house.  We pulled out our mattresses (or as Lydia calls them, cushions) and slept in front of the tree, and now we're waiting on Anna Kate to wake up.  Lydia is beginning to get impatient....oh!  I think I hear her now.  Let the good times roll! :)

Christmas!

On the morning of Christmas Eve, we had Christmas with my family.
Anna Kate got a small stuffed bumblebee from Josiah.

Here are the youngest cousins enjoying a cool new toy.
Lydia got what she had really been wanting...a Peppa Pig dream house!
There were lots of Lil Woodzeez given and received!
Lydia also got her very own baby doll with a bed!
The boys were thrilled about these basketballs we gave them.  Ha!
We opened presents for the longest time and really enjoyed it!  I didn't get any pictures of the adults...we must have been having too good of a time!
In other news, it's Christmas Eve here at the Habermas house!  We are all (or maybe just Joel and me) going to sleep in front of the tree tonight and open presents in the morning!  Yahoo!!!  We're spreading Christmas out around here! :)

Christmas Cousin Sleepover!

Josiah said that he and Caleb didn't need toys for Christmas.  All they wanted was a cousin sleepover, so that's what they got! (and a few other things too)
So last night was the big night!
The cousins had a great time together!
And the best news is that they all slept in until almost 7:30!  That's what I'd call a sleepover success!

Habermas Christmas #1!

On Sunday, we got to have Christmas with Joel's family.  We will have another celebration on Christmas morning, but we had one early since Andrew and Chelsea will be out of town.  Lydia was super excited!
She got lots of puzzles and books and other little goodies.
Right now she is a big fan of Uncle Jared!
Anna Kate was not in the jolliest of moods.  Ha!
She cheered up after we ate dinner and it was stocking time!
We had a great time, and Lydia can't wait to go back and spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa's!

A Tender Honeycutt Christmas!

On Saturday we had our first Christmas.  The Honeycutt relatives traveled from near and far to come to Christmas at camp, which was very convenient for us!  Almost everyone got to come.  We were only missing five family members...pretty good!  Here we all are!
Grandmother taught Anna Kate how to do Patty Cake.
And how to "peck a little hole."  Very cute!
Santa even made an early stop to bring presents to the kids!  They were so excited!

Santa picked out the best presents this year!

Anna got an adorable lion!
Lydia got her dream present.  It's a princess box full of Chapstick, lotion, bubble bath, bubble gum, etc.  She has been carrying it around everywhere since.  She LOVES it!  Good job, Santa! :)
Here we have Jessica and Grandmother.  They like each other just a wee bit. :)
And I will leave you with a silly picture.  We had a great time!!!

Tree Time!

I just found this picture recently, but it is from last Christmas!  Look at my sweet little Lydia!  I have some from this year's tree retrieval but haven't uploaded them yet.  Things are busy around here!  Trying to get ready for our SEVEN Christmas celebrations that are quickly approaching.  Fun!

Lydia the Lamb!

Heather is one of Lydia's Sunday School teachers, and she took these super cute pictures of her class!
Lydia says the girl standing beside her, Tessa, is her best friend...I'm not sure if she's ever spoken a word to her though.  And I believe Lydia is a fan of both of those boys.  She talks about them quite a bit.  :)
Cute, cute!

Dollywood!

Joel's parents gave us season tickets to Dollywood last Christmas, and we have thoroughly enjoyed them!  I think we went five times...maybe six.  Lydia has been asking to go again since our last visit this fall, so we decided to fit in one more trip before our tickets expire.  So glad we did!
We started our day at Lydia's favorite ride...the cars!
Anna Kate even got to drive a car!
And we got to go on a little romantic ride!  They even had Bing's Christmas music playing in the cars.  Fun!

Lydia really wanted to ride on this rooster, because it is what Josiah rode when he came with us to Dollywood...I'm telling you, she's in love! :)

Anna Kate's first carousel ride!
The three of us rode on the scrambler together while Heather and Daddy took a ride on the train with Anna.
And then Lydia got to ride all her favorites!  She was the only kid on the bee ride!
Wednesday while school is still in session is the perfect time to go to Dollywood!  It was like a ghost town compared to how it was this summer on a weekend!
Lydia got to meet Rudolph and his lady friend.
We had such a great time!
At the end there was a Christmas lights parade which was very fun!  Lydia is already asking to go back! :)
