Cloudland Canyon!

During fall break we spent a day at Cloudland Canyon. We ate hobo stew, played on the playground, and went on a hike. The weather was perfect! The hike was just a wee bit too long, especially for the hiker with the shortest legs. But we had a great time!

4-H!

Lydia was supposed to bring in a collection for 4-H last week. We could not think of anything she collects! At the last minute, we both remembered she has a four leaf clover collection. Perfect!

Brothers!

Look at these sweet brothers! They love each other so much! When Benjamin wakes up, Steven runs in to “babysit”. Benjamin gets so excited! They hug each other, and Benjamin lovingly whacks Steven on the head. He has even started saying Bubba over and over. (Terrible nickname, I know, but it is the sweetest thing!)

International Night!

Last night was International Night at AWANA. I just happened to have both these costumes in the attic. I bought them at Goodwill a few years back. They were just too good to pass up!
We could only find one chopstick for Anna Kate’s hair. Who knows where the other is!?
So anyways, here are my Egyptian princess and cute Chinese lady.
Now it’s time to get crackin’ on our Halloween costumes!

Back to School!

We had a wonderful fall break! Hopefully I’ll tell ya all about it! The girls headed back to school on Monday. They weren’t too overly thrilled, but I kind of was. Ha!

Lydia!

These are notes I found laying around that I thought were cute. Lydia probably would not approve if she knew I took pictures of them. The first is just a letter to her friend Caroline. They are in different classes for the first time, so they’ve started writing notes. The second picture is a schedule Lydia made to help Anna Kate with her homework one day. It was very cute and sweet listening to her help Anna Kate, but it took forever. She probably won’t be volunteering for that job again any time soon.

Ordinary Days!

My days are full of changing diapers, taking girls to and from school, playing (mostly with cars and trains currently), helping with homework, cooking dinners, doing laundry, and cleaning up lots of messes in the middle. I sure do love it and know I’m gonna miss these days!
