Goal Gal Getaway!

Back in October, we had a goal gal getaway at my parents’ house while they were out of the country. It was delightful!
Courtney even came from Arkansas!
We made our semi-annual trip to Fall Creek Falls.

We even bought matching sweatshirts.
I love a good goal gal getaway! These are the sweetest friends a girl could ask for!

School Pictures!

Look at my sweet babies’ school pictures!

I just wish I had a matching picture of Benjamin. I might try to recreate one with a blue blanket backdrop. It’s on my to-do list. Ha! For now, here he is at camp.

ESL Conference!

We got to go to an ESL conference in Nashville last weekend! We had such a good time!

We even ventured to the Opryland hotel to see the Christmas decorations and then ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Such a good time!

Oh yes, and we learned a lot too! Haha

Field Trip!

I got to go with Steven on his first field trip! We went to the Creative Discovery Museum on Halloween!
These were the four boys I got to keep up with all day. That was just a wee bit difficult, but we made it!
Steven said this was his favorite part of the museum, building this square with nuts and bolts.
He was sad to leave it, because he said he was about to add wheels - thus the sad face.

Meanwhile, Benjamin was having western day at Mother’s Day Out. He was excited about feeding this horse from his hand, even if he doesn’t look so excited in the picture. Haha

And then after all that, we ran home and got dressed up for Halloween! It was a fun, busy day!

Dress Up Days!

Last week we had five dress up days at school, which was pure craziness! This week feels like a breeze, going to school in regular clothes.
These pictures will probably be jumbled, but here we go!
Thursday was character day. Anna Kate dressed up like Simone Biles.

Wednesday was food day. Steven went as a chef.
Friday was country vs. country club day. We’re obviously all from the country. Ha
Steven’s kindergarten friends on food day.

Sports day…Go Vols!
Career day. My ESL coworkers and I dressed as lifeguards.
Mr. Habermas and his “sweetie”.
Oh and we threw in a 4-H poster in the middle of all the mess, just for a good time. Haha

Career day. Lydia was a teacher. A couple teachers told me they thought Lydia was me walking down the halls.

And Anna Kate was a paleontologist, just so she could bring her huge dinosaur to school.

And there you have it! We survived the week! Oh, and a field trip was thrown in there too. I’ll get to that soon, hopefully. It’s good to be back.
