Happy 4th Birthday, Anna Kate!

Today is Anna Kate's 4th birthday!!!
She loves to play with baby dolls.  She is pictured here with Blossom.
Don't tell her, but she's getting a new doll (with hair!) for her birthday today!
I think she'll be thrilled!
Most days you'll find Anna Kate dressed up fancy!
It's hardly ever the same combination of things twice.
This bicycle outfit has been her favorite this winter.  I think mainly because her favorite cousin Eleonora has a matching set.
(She had to try out this playhouse while we were shopping at Target....She is not getting that for her birthday today.  haha!)
Anna Kate loves to color, and she is very good at it!
She can color for hours at a time, if she's in the mood.  She is very detail oriented.  She has recently started drawing hearts, and she even cuts them out.
Love my little crafter!
She also loooves to read books!  She will sit and "read" through stacks of books at a time.  Being read to is probably one of her favorite things.  She's always asking to snuggle up and read a book.
Here's another lovely combination of dress up clothes.  I believe she was pretending to be Fancy Nancy on this particular day.
Anna Kate loves to eat!  Her favorite foods are cheese and sausage.
Really decked out here.  Ha!
Anna Kate is really good at playing and entertaining herself while Lydia is at school.
She sets things up and plays and plays, which also means she in an expert mess maker!
Hoping to work on her cleaning up skills during her 4th year of life.
She loved being Tinkerbell for Halloween, and her costume still gets lots of use!
Here she is holding up a tiny edamame bean at dinner one night.  She gets cracked up easily and makes us laugh often.
Anna Kate is my daytime companion.  We get to hang out every day in the car rider line waiting to pick up Lydia.  She's a good time.  Speaking of Lydia, Anna Kate used to pronounce her name "Way-la"...not sure why.  But just in the last few days she has started pronouncing it perfectly.  It's a little sad.  She's growing up!
She's no longer my little three year old.  Four sounds awfully old, but I'm excited for the year ahead!
She gives me "hugs and smooches" throughout the day and keeps me laughing.  She always yells "love" before I leave or we part ways...which isn't often.  She makes the funniest faces and has some great dance moves.  I'd say her absolute favorite person is Lydia.  I love hearing them play together and watching their friendship grow.  She sometimes cries when we get home from dropping off Lydia and sometimes even during the day when she misses her.  Speaking of crying, she still spills quite a few tears daily, but I do think she is starting to dry up a bit.  She's a girl of many emotions, just like her momma!
I love you so, so, so, so, so, so much, Anna Kate!  I can hardly even stand it!  Happy 4th Birthday!  SO thankful to have you as my sweet, precious daughter!
