Dollywood!

This past weekend, we got to go to Dollywood!  Joel got free tickets from work, so we invited his parents and brother to come along, and we all had a blast!  Another bonus, on top of the free tickets, is that Joel's parents have connections to a cabin in Townsend, so we got to spend the whole weekend there!  Lots of fun!  They are experts at entertaining the girls and brought enough books, games, and play-doh to keep them busy all weekend long!
The big day finally arrived!  Lydia was SO excited!!!  She wanted to head straight to the cars first thing!

Anna Kate even got to drive her Daddy around.  So cute!
She loved it too...even though you can't tell by her expression.  She was probably just sad she had to get out of the car.
Then it was on to the carousel, where Lydia of course wanted to ride the rabbit.  (In honor of dear old Thumper.)
My baby is getting so big!
Aren't these two so good looking?!  I sure think so.  Ha!
Dumbo time!  I love that ride!
This is a super blurry picture, but Lydia rode with her hands in the air on almost all the rides, even the scrambler!
Teacups!
Anna Kate is finally big enough to ride the kiddie rides!  She loved the ducks and did not want to get out when it was over.
Piggies!
And the bees!
This ride actually nearly gave me a heart attack, because I just knew Anna was going to stand up and dump out the side.  It goes up in the air, by the way.  Thankfully she never did!
Tried to get a family photo.  Not so good.  Now that Lydia has learned to smile on demand (fake is better than nothing), Anna Kate has decided to carry on the family tradition of the angry eyebrows.
Group shot!  This was right after our last ride, the cars again!  We like to start and finish with the best!
Lydia thought these pumpkin guys were hilarious!  Notice her long underwear poking out her shirt...it was a pretty chilly day, but we had so much fun!
