Way back in January, Lydia tried out for her school’s play and got the part she most wanted, Shanti!
Here she is with her amazing music teacher Miss Charity!
Lydia had many solos and a few lines at the end. She did SO good!!! And I’m still in shock that she had the guts to do all that!
Her best friend Caroline was Bagheera the panther!
This is Lydia’s art teacher, Ms. Phyllis. She helped at all the practices and also helped make the costumes, backdrop, and props.
Lydia had huge fan clubs at both performances!
These are three of her very good friends. Glendy and Kaytlynn were both in her class this year.
Lydia got to throw the net on Sheer Khan at the end of the play. It stressed her out a little making sure she got it on him just right, but she loved it!
Anna Kate isn’t in our family photo because she was at the ballet rehearsal. But she did get to see it twice, don’t worry!
I am so, so proud of Lydia!!! Wow! The whole play was absolutely incredible! We can’t wait to see what next year’s play will be!
