For spring break, way back in March, we rented a little cabin. I have no idea where we were. Haha! I’ll have to ask Joel. The cabin had three stories! Joel, the boys, and I were down in the basement, and the girls were up partying in the loft. We all loved it! I asked Joel to build us a cabin just like it someday, as our little vacation home. He said he might. Ha! I think he has a few projects around here to finish up first. Oh yeah and we might have to hit the jackpot first too!
Anyways, as a I looked up things to do around wherever we were, I found a place with a giant Ten Commandments and Jesus’ tomb, so of course we had to go! But I don’t think we’ll ever be needing to go back again. It was kind of a strange place. I think maybe it was past its prime. But we had a good time!
My pictures are all jumbled, as usual. But on the way home, we stopped at Bald River Falls and went on a little hike. Very fun!
Also on our last day, we stumbled upon another strange place. It was a place for “family fun.” We were the only family there that day, so we had the whole place to ourselves.
It was an odd place indeed, but the kids loved it!
We also went to a museum, and the girls got bracelets made by a real live Indian. They were thrilled!
We went on several walks around the small town where we were staying, wherever that was. Haha
There’s the Ten Commandments!
And this adventure all started on St. Patrick’s Day, as you can see from the green shirts!
A good time was had by all!
